As we achieve a critical milestone of moving out of our infancy i.e. being in action for 5 years in fighting malnutrition in India; a strong realization sets in my soul on the incredible journey of Fight Hunger Foundation during these years and the accomplishments achieved so far.

Recognizing the need to have better access to children suffering from acute malnutrition in Washala in Palghar Fight Hunger Foundation inaugurated its third Outpatient Treatment Centre (OTC) in Mokhada block of Palghar district, Maharashtra on 22nd June 2017.

World Water Day is celebrated across the globe on 22nd March every year with a unique theme around tackling water crisis. Today, 1.8 billion people use a source of drinking water contaminated with faeces, putting them at risk of contracting cholera, dysentery, typhoid and polio. Providing clean drinking water to all is not only one of sustainable development goals but is also directly linked with prevention of malnutrition.

Scaling new heights for a hunger-free India

In March - April 2017, our friend and supporter, Mr. Atonu Das undertook the challenge of trekking in the Himalaya to raise funds and awareness for Fight Hunger Foundation (FHF). We are extremely grateful to Atonu for taking up this inspiring initiative!

John Abraham joins hands with us to fight hunger

We are delighted to get the support of Bollywood actor and film producer  Mr. John Abraham in our fight to end child hunger in India.

Mr Abraham was interviewed by RJ Hrishi K of 94.3 Radio One channel on World Food Day, where he shared his views on the importance of good nutrition in the initial years of a child’s life, and how it shapes his behaviour and mental make-up when he grows up.
